| Onyx | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Onyx has been with us for almost 6 weeks and is gently transitioning into home environment. He's beautifully marked, with a shiny black coat and white accents on his feet, noxe, chest, and tip of his tail. He's very sweet and gets along well with our small dog and other greys. He's still a bit unsure around new huamns, but is very loving and affectionate without being over the top or needy with his special human companions. We also think he'll thrive with a fenced yard, as he prefers doing his turnout business without a leash. Onyx is very well behaved, and is not a dominating personality. He'll make an extremely great pet in a lower keyed, relaxed home that doesn't expect or require him to be constantly in the forefront of a social scene...but instead just a calm, loving pet."

| Teena | Female | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Teena is a wonderful, glossy coated girl who has really taken to home life. She's been here for only a short while, but is doing VERY well. She sleeps through the night in our bedroom with our dogs, and she's had no accidents in the house. She's very sweet and attentive, and we think she'll be a fantastic addition to any family!"

| Bo* | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Bo is really playful! He loves playing with his toys and with you too! He's an excellent companion-very loyal and loving; following you where ever you go. Bo is great on walks, minding his manners and never pulling. He's great in the car, does stairs well, doesn't mind elevators, and is good with cats and other dogs. He's a good listener and quickly learns when you tell him something is off limits. We think he'd do well with an environment where someone is home a lot, as he is a social soul who isn't one to enjoy being alone for hours on end. He's a precious boy and will be a wonderful forever pet!

| Diamond* | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the kennel staff: "Diamond is a very well adjusted and well mannered boy. He has settled into our routines and gets along wonderfully with us as well as his kennel mates. We think he will transition just as easily into homelife. He's a good boy, and a good bet to be a great forever pet. We'll have more on him once he is in foster care. " ***UPDATE 1/11/12*** Diamond is being placed in foster care, so we'll have more on him soon.

| Hot Rod | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Hot Rod has a personality that is emerging as one of youthful happiness. He loves to have some one-on-one playtime with another dog, and we think he'd do well as either an only pet or with one other single four-legged compadre. He loves to be by his humans, and willingly walks very politely alongside them. He would thrive in an organized, adult home where he could be involved in some structured activities. At this time, we feel young children or chaos may over stimulate or confuse him. He's a really fun, loving, and very entertaining boy, and we'll have more on him as he continues to settle in."

| Rocket | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the kennel staff: "Rocket is a sweet and handsome boy who gets along with very well with all of is here, including his kennelmates. He's not an over the top or in your face kind of guy at .all. He's well mannered, enjoys interaction and affection, and seems to have a true desire to please. He will do his potty on lead also. We'll have more on him once he is in a Foster Home." ***UPDATE 1/24/12*** Rocket has just been placed in foster care, so we'll have more on him soon.

| Shine | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Shine is really adjusting very well to home life. He loves humans of all sizes, gets along fine with small dogs and cats, and potties on lead. He's got a fun and happy demeanor, and finds it entertaining to sneak off with something of yours... but he'd rarely chew his findings. He's really an enjoyable boy and a pleasure to have around!"

| Denny | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Denny really is a sweet, more laid back boy who learns quickly. He's got a natural curiosity about new things in his environment, but he's easily corrected if it's something he should refrain from messing with. He likes stuffie toys and play, but he's not a rough housing type of guy. Denny will do his business on lead, and navigates well on stairs. He enjoys interaction in general, whether human or canine, and is just an overall well adjusted, entertaining, and smart boy who will make a great forever pet."

| Dumas | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Dumas is a very happy and social hound who enjoys interaction. He loves having a canine playmate, especially relishing in other greyhound company. For this reason, we think he'd thrive in a home with another grey. He listens well to a gentle, but firm voice, and is not a dominant personality-much preferring to follow by example. Since he loves to play with other hounds, we'd recommend a fenced yard for him as well. Overall, he's a very loving, outgoing boy who will do wonderfully in a home where he can have some fun and activities, including with older kids."
| ||||||
| ||||||
| Remi* | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Remi has been a great boy in our house from day one, with no potty accidents, and easily adjusted to our routines. He is full of personality, very human oriented, and potentially a very large lap dog if you allow him, lol. He loves men and women equally, as well as kids. Since he's a leaner, we'd recommend older children. We also think that he would be a wonderful only pet, as his devotion is so strongly associated with humans. He does like to carry things around with him, so we'd also recommend using his muzzle when you're away from home if you don't wish for a game of hide and seek with him!:-) Although he's a sighthound, we think he was gifted with scenthound capabilities, as he has an uncanny sense of smell-and an adorable way of sniffing things out. Overall, Remi is an absolute joy, and a great source of love, affection, and entertainment...he'll be a wonderful pet!

| Royal | Male | Back to top | ||||
Comments from the Foster Home: "Royal is an awesome boy! He gets along great with everyone, and has had no problems adjusting to our routines. In fact, he's been a joy to have in our home. If my greyhound, Starling, could choose who she would like to keep as a "brother" I'm betting it would be Royal! (He does thoroughly enjoy a fenced yard, so we would recommend one for him.) | Mam | Female | Back to top
Comments from the Foster Home: "Mam is above all affectionate. She loves getting and receiving attention!
She also is very interactive with her environment-If anything is going on, she wants to be there, see it with her own eyes. She's a curious girl and will thoroughly explore whatever interests her, yet she can be easily taught her boundaries. We have parts of our open kitchen off limits to dogs, and after enough repetition, she won't go there.
Outside the crate she is relaxed, and shows no anxieties. She eats, sleeps and stays in the crate without complaint.
Mam adapts easily to routine. Her feeding and potty habits are easy to adjust. She has learned to walk well on lead with little correction. She's kid friendly; and also potties on her lead. She is an overall very loving, sweet, curious, and highly intelligent girl that's doing very well in our home."
