| Robbie (Our Brigadier) |
Male | Back to top | |||||||
***UPDATE 4-16-10*** Comments from the Foster Home: "Robbie is a wonderful combination of playfulness and passivity. He loves his squeaky stuffies, and is best buds with our son's 18 month old pit bull. Yet, he is very calm and laid back. He is full of personality, and is catching on well to life in a home. While we would still not recommend him sharing quarters with small animals, he tends to ignore them generally, when we are walking and he sees them behind gates and fences, etc.) Robbie has a wonderful relationship with children, and will eagerly gravitate to them for attention, in fact, appearing to crave it. He is really an awesome boy, with an extremely engaging and sweet personality!" | |||||||||

Comments from our kennel staff: "Happy is new to our kennel, but he's a really nice, even tempered boy that really enjoys bonding time with his humans. He gets along well with his kennel-mates, and is settling in just fine. He's a good walker on lead, and he enjoys car rides. We'll have more on him as his personality once he's in foster care."
Comments from the kennel staff; "Kenny can best be described as a huge lover-boy. While he enjoys a good romp outside, he settles in for human interaction quickly. He chatters and gives kisses. His initial cat introduction shows a bit too much interest, though we may retest at a later date. He's a good boy, great leash walker, loves car rides, and will be a fantastic addition as a family pet. We will have more on him once he is in a foster home."
Comments from Foster Home:***UPDATE 6-6-10*** "Leif continues to do well in our home. He is somewhat playful, and interacts well with other dogs and people. He does very well with our small, darker colored dogs. He would be fine in a home with older (12+) children. He's not a barker or fretter, and he walks/potties well on lead. He will let you know when he has to go outside, and he's a really frugal hound....he LOVES to play with paper towels, toilet paper, and newspapers! : ) He loves to go for car rides. Leif is just an extremely good-natured and pleasant boy-he will make a wonderful pet for his forever humans."
Comments from the kennel staff: "Red is an entertainer!" He's got a cute, playful nature, both with his humans and kennel-mates. He's a fun boy that tends to make you forget whatever is on your mind, and make you focus on having some happy-time with him. He's quite happy to stop for pets, too! More to follow on him when he's in a foster home."
Comments from the Foster Home: "Turbo is adjusting very quickly to home life. He is enjoying exploring his new surroundings, gets along great with the cats and small dogs, and has had no potty issues at all, and will thrive in a home with a fenced yard for his turnout and some interactive play. He has an adorable personality, and can be enticed to try and "talk" to you. He's a very loving boy to all who come his way...big or small. Just a fantastic boy!" (Turbo also has an adorable greyhound "Roman nose"...)
Comments from the kennel staff: Apple is a sweetheart of a girl who, though not shy, is a bit unsure initially about what you expect of her. Once she is confident with you, she approaches quickly and enjoys your company and affection. She is a calmer, good natured girl, is curious about new things, and catches on to your expectations with ease. We think she would thrive in a laid back environment, and will have more on her once she is placed in a foster home. ***UPDATE 7/25/10*** Apple has just been placed in a foster home, so we'll have more on her soon.
Comments from the kennel staff: Pretty was named very appropriately, as she has a leggy, sleek build and beautifully marked cost. She is a calm, laid back girl who listens well, is eager please, and loves your affection. She would enjoy a laid back lifestyle where she could be integrated with your routines. We will have more on her once she is in a foster home.
Comments from the kennel staff: "From day one, Birk has impressed. He has a calm, intuitive spirit that is reflected on both his face and in his demeanor. He loves human interaction, but will patiently wait for you to give it. We think Birk will be a true gem of an addition to the lucky family who chooses him. More on him will follow once he is in foster care."
Comments from our kennel staff: "Charlie is another one of our extremely great boys. He's very interactive, loving, and sweet. He tends to always look like "he's got a smile on his face" and he enjoys pets and attention from his humans. Oh, and he sits! He also walks well on lead, and enjoys car rides. We feel he'll really be a wonderful pet. We'll have more on Charlie once he's been placed in foster care."
Comments from the Foster Home: Chuck has been with us for 2 weeks now, and is continuing to blossom. The first night we could not believe that he had never been in a home before. He fit right in immediately with our 2 boys (greyhounds) and was calm and well behaved. On the website it said he has a kind and gentle nature, and it was an apt description. Nothing seems to ruffle his feathers. He minds well and when correction is needed, he redirects quickly. He loves stuffies, loves people, and appreciates attention. Other than that we can only say that he?s a real sweetheart and is turning into one of those fosters that you hate to see go. His confidence and gentle nature will make someone a fine pet.
Comments from the kennel staff: "Fox is a boy with a very sweet and loving nature, who will follow you for pets and attention, without being in your face about it. He is a leaner, and is an excellent four-legged companion. We enjoy our one-on-one time with him. More will follow when he is placed in foster care."
Comments from the kennel staff: "Spot is a very sweet, interactive, and quite handsome boy, with extraordinary markings. He loves his playtime with you, so he'd enjoy a fenced yard for some supervised exercise. He's natured with an always-happy attitude, and we think he will be a fun dog to incorporate into outings and activities. We'll have more on him once his is placed in a foster home."
Comments from the kennel staff: "Destin is also a newer resident of our kennel. He's a really sweet boy who loves attention and affection from his humans. A definite companion-hound. He also sits on command! Overall, what a doll this boy is... We'll have more on him as his personality continues to emerge."
Comments from the kennel staff: "What a gorgeous girl our Foxy is! She's got very unusual markings, and her personality only makes her even more adorable. She is outgoing and enjoys her playtime with you. However, she's a very gentle hound, and seems very content to adapt to whatever her surroundings require. We'll have more on her once she's in a foster home."
Comments from the kennel staff: "Burrito's a beautifully marked male with a sweet, happy personality. He enjoys his turnout playtime, so he'd most likely do best with a fenced yard for some supervised romps. He loves interacting with his humans, and oftentimes when we are out in the yard with them, he'll wind up close by your side. He's an overall happy, well-adjusted hound, and we'll have more on him when he's placed in foster care."
